City cycling tour with a resident host – Jaffna
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: With Jaffna’s flat ground, long straight roads and intermittent sea breeze, it is perhaps no surprise that cycling is the preferred method of transport for many local people in the area. This coastal capital city of Sri Lanka’s Northern province is relatively compact so one rarely has to cycle far to get from A to B. Spend a morning or afternoon exploring this beautiful yet war-torn town and it will be sure to win your heart.
