Sailing adventure by catamaran – Beruwela
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The South Coast of Sri Lanka has long been praised for it’s azure waters, therefore getting out on the Indian Ocean is an absolute must when visiting this part of the island. The areas of Bentota and Beruwela boast spectacular coastal scenery and some fantastic coves and islets. Spend a relaxed morning on board a luxurious sailing boat to get you straight into holiday mode.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: The morning trip takes off from Beruwela Harbor at 9am. You will be greeted on board by an experienced crew and sail out to a nearby islet. Take the opportunity to try snorkeling or stand up paddle board and then jump on a mini speed boat to go out to explore a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean. The lighthouse itself is surrounded by tropical plants and nestled away in a coconut plantation. From the top you will get the most amazing views of the surrounding scenery and on the way back the staff will climb a coconut tree and grab you a fresh king coconut! As you sail back towards shore enjoy a beer or soft drink with some light Sri Lankan snacks, arriving back just in time for lunch at 12. Disconnect and relax.
Includes: Water, stand-up paddle board, insurance, an experienced crew and life jackets. Snacks, soft drinks and snorkeling gear is provided at an additional cost.

Important to know: Life jackets are available for those who are not good swimmers. The crew will be happy to accompany those who are not good swimmers. The experience is great for families, older children, couples and novice sailors who wants a relaxing and original moment in stunning landscapes.
