Villa Mayurana is a private paradise, located on a cinnamon plantation amidst landscaped tropical garden overlooking the pristine Ahangama coastline near Galle. The villa, which sleeps a maximum of 8, is within easy reach of the beaches of Mirissa, Thalpe and Unawatuna, and is located close to the dreamy Koggala Lake and a private beach which is exclusive to Villa Mayurana guests. It also has stunning 360 views, which, on a clear day, offers guests views of Adam’s Peak in the distance.
Villa Mayurana has a 20-meter infinity pool, an impressive gym with a certified and experienced instructor, yoga spaces, many lounge areas in and around the villa, a spa with sauna, modern kitchen and pantry, full-time chef, Jacuzzi that overlooks paddy fields and a secret cinnamon garden for long walks around the villa. The villa has Wi-Fi, and staffed by four.

Red and Yellow Suites
The Red and Yellow Suites are identical (except in color) and include access to an open pantry – a fully-stocked tea kitchen with direct access to the main lounge. Each room is comfortably furnished with a king-sized four-poster bed, A/C and a range of modern amenities, and a luxury en-suite bathroom that opens out to the pool.

Orange Suite
This is the latest addition to Villa Mayurana’s collection of rooms, and offers lovely views of Koggala Lake and the ocean beyond. It has the same facilities as the Red and Yellow Suites.

The spacious Grand Suite offers everything the Yellow and Red suites offer, with a larger bathroom and the addition of fantastic panoramic views and direct access to a private veranda that opens out to a small ornamental pond and the 20-meter infinity swimming pool.

The Mayurana Gourmet Restaurant is eclectic, with three- to five-course menus created every day. The kitchen is manned by a personal chef, who’ll design meals in consultation with guests on request. The kitchen also primarily uses fruit and vegetables from their own organic garden. Dining options at the villa include tables under the shade of trees by the pool, the veranda or the in-house dining room.
Sustainability
Villa Mayurana promotes water and electricity conservation, and ensures that all waste is separated and recycled where possible. Daily commutes of staff are minimal as most employees are from the area.
Just for the kids
The villa welcomes families with children of all ages. For a family booking the villa by room, the recommended age for children is 7.
