The twelve suites are beautifully spacious and kitted out with every modern comfort you could ever wish for including cosy jacuzzis, ocean view terraces and private gardens. The serene hammock-strung garden at Aditya is shaded by many palms and perfect for a satisfying siesta as you are lulled to sleep by the sway of the sea! Access to the long beach is through a sandy walkway between the many limbed trees that ensures privacy for the property. The seductive aquamarine swimming pool is drenched in sunshine all day long and enhanced by the crimson hued sky at sunset. Surrounded by little statues of celestial nymphs and stone frogs, this is the place to be at sunset with the hotel’s signature Athura cocktail in hand.
The Amal restaurant is definitely Aditya’s best-kept secret since the extensive menu of innovatively created dishes is an absolute delight. While the intimacy of Aditya is difficult to prise yourself away from this beach hotel is ideally sited for visits to both the island’s surfing capital of Hikkaduwa and the historic city of Galle as well as all of the beaches, rivers and rainforests in-between. Aditya has created the ideal conditions for a truly relaxing holiday where you can de-stress, unwind and leave all of your cares behind.
Each suite is uniquely designed using a different colour palette and selection of antiques, much of which are from Indonesia. The expansive king sized beds are dressed in soft linen, topped with silk cushions and decorated with Balinese wooden headboards. The suites also feature wardrobes, chests, cupboards and a cosy lounge area. Comfortable chairs designed for lounging are located on the spacious balcony or terrace of each suite. The modern en-suite bathrooms are full of luxurious toiletries and feature twin vanities, rain showers and a very inviting Jacuzzi plunge pool (unheated).
These suites are located on the ground floor and have their own private leafy garden courtyards as well as a particularly unique lighting feature where an artificial night sky is created on the ceiling at night.

This magnificent split level penthouse suite is one of the most spacious on the south coast. Relax in the lounge on the ground floor or climb the wooden staircase to reach the mezzanine sleeping area. The hotel freshly makes its own bread every day which is served in various guises with every meal. If you fancy a lie in, take advantage of the indulgent Sunrise Brunch which is a highlight of the hotel.
While the Amal restaurant is an atmospheric dining spot, in-room dining is very popular at Aditya and makes the experience a lot more personal. For special occasions the staff can set up a table in the garden or beside the pool and if asked for in advance, it is even possible to request custom-made menus.
There is a wide variety of international liquor and mixers which result in an extensive cocktail list while a good choice of wine is also available if you prefer. Soft drinks, fruit juices and hot beverages are also available at any time.
