Jetwing Beach is located on an extensive stretch of golden beach and encompasses a large area of palm-shaded sand flecked with sun-loungers in its spacious and very private grounds. While the sea is not always safe for swimming the hotel boasts two pools, one of which wraps around the Terrace to provide cooling shade in the heat of the day. The hotel’s guestrooms pamper guests with space, privacy and a host of luxurious amenities including glorious glass-walled bathrooms with tubs and rain showers. Soft colors and rich dark woods harmoniously combine to create a serene and simplistic ambiance.
This is a great hotel for families since the hotel has an excellent Child Care center where babies from four months to children of 17 years are expertly kept occupied with fun activities in dedicated classes according to age. Jetwing Beach is also an excellent resort for water sports where activities ranging from wind-surfing to kite-surfing can be arranged on the sea or nearby lagoon. The fishing town of Negombo is also an excellent place to absorb yourself in local culture; admire the colonial architecture of this multi-religious town, take a canal-boat trip with the hotel’s resident naturalist to spot wildlife or take in the sights and smells of the frenetic early morning fish market!
