	This stylish itinerary takes you on a fascinating tour of Sri Lanka’s hill country and the south. You will first visit kandy, the ancient sinhalese capital, famed for its mystique and paegeant. Kandy is also home to Sri Lanka’s best golf course regarded by many as one of the most scenic in Asia. A short three hour train ride deep into the hills awaits one of Sri Lanka’s most authentic and exquisit experiences, Tea Trails, a fine colletion of colonial era bungalows with butler service and fine cuisine. You descend from the mountains towards the south. Uda Walawe National Park is Sri Lanka’s best park for Elephant sightings. You will camp for two nights instyle by the remote and exotic Walawe river. Sri Lanka’s best beaches await you in Tangalle. Small private coves, fishing villages and glorious sunsets. On your way around the souther coast, also known as the Serendip Riviera, you will visit the Unesco World Heritage Galle Fort, with its lovely colonial atmosphere and its quirky little boutique hotels, shops and restaurants. Bentota is your last stop. Bentota’s wide open beach and beautiful lagoon are its major attractions. A visit to Geoffrey Bawa’s house and gardens of Lunuganga is not to be missed. A night in Colombo at the end of the trip is optional.
