Built of concrete, local teak and coconut leaves, the villa is a multi-level, open-air structure composed of a series of platforms accessed by stairs. It’s designed to offer sights of the ocean, cliffs and the jungle and uses the intersecting panels of the floors, walls and ceilings to frame three different views.
The first view is of the ocean seen from the jungle in the valley, the second is a spectacular view of the Weligama bay from the living area and the last is of the cliff. Unlike traditional villas, the living area is open and faces an infinity pool with stunning views over the bay and the distant hills.

In addition, there’s also a one-bedroom cottage in the garden complete with a kitchenette that could be rented with the main house or separately.
Take a swim in the 60ft infinity pool overlooking the Weligama Bay or lounge in one of the wooden sunbeds that converts in to a daybed with a book. Villa Vista is located in an 8-acre land, so feel free take a walk around, explore the summer hut located on the cliff edge or wander off to the private beach, a five minute walk downhill. The villa also has a fully equipped gym and a movie room with underwater windows that look into the pool. The staff can also organize a massage therapist on-site for those who are keen on getting a massage.
