Ella, a sleepy little town ringed by verdant mountains has become a sensation among travelers. Amidst its many a delight, the trail to the top of Ella Rock is a bucket-list item of many who visit Ella. Though it is known as a quite challenging hike, once you reach the top the view of the surrounding environment is nothing short of striking.
Experience Overview
The rugged and winding path to the top of the rock is stunning beyond words as dangling vines and towering trees unfold a fascinating world straight out of a fairytale. Also, you will walk through lush tea fields that stretch out as far as the eye could see. After a trek of approximately two hours, you take the final step and conquer the mighty top of Ella Rock. On a clear day though, an explorer who has labored up the not so easy trail leading to the summit of Ella Rock is rewarded with some of the most spectacular vistas of the mountains and valleys below. You can enjoy panoramic views of the Ella Gap to the south. Also, we try to start the hike as early as possible in the morning so that you can witness a glorious sunrise once you climb to the summit.
