Discover total tranquillity at W15 Hanthana Estate, a restored tea bungalow set in the Hanthana Mountain Range just half an hour from the thriving Kandy city centre. W15 Hanthana exudes total opulence at every turn, from the grand architecture and glitzy décor to the artisan cuisine and exceptional service provided by your personal butler. There are only ten suites, with six in the main bungalow and four a short distance away in the converted stables, and plenty of spaces where guests can relax – in the extensive gardens; by the swimming pool; on the veranda, or in the spacious and luxuriously furnished living areas. A range of activities are on offer at W15 Hanthana Estate, including Land Rover jeep tours of the mountains, e-bike rides, hikes and birdwatching expeditions.

Bungalow Suites
There are five Bungalow Suites, all of which are decorated with the classic dark wood and light fabrics of traditional colonial-period décor. All are unique in size but are equally sumptuously furnished, with a large, well-dressed double bed, wardrobe, armchairs, coffee table, writing desk and butler bell. A small outdoor patio adjoins with the living area and the room can be cooled with fans or a/c. The ensuite bathroom has an unusual design: an enclosed w/c faces an enclosed shower room, connected by a dressing area with large mirror, twin sinks and abundant amenities.

Stable Suites
The suites in The Stables are less richly furnished but are still luxurious, rejecting the colonial-period theme for a more contemporary feel using locally-sourced pieces. These suites are also lighter, provide greater privacy and offer astonishing vistas across the Hanthana mountains.
