Villas in Yala National ParkBack
Yala National Park is in Sri Lanka’s Deep South. Despite being the most frequently-visited park in the country, and the island’s most famous wildlife park due to its high leopard population, its remote location means that there are not a lot of accommodation options in this area. There are some hotels near the park, such as the luxurious Chena Huts by Uga Escapes, as well as a variety of comfortable camping options which allow you to stay on the borders of the park, but there are not many villas in Yala.
One villa option close to Yala National Park is the elegant Jacana Villa, a modern and stylish property which lies just a short drive from the entrance to the national park. This two-bedroom villa, surrounded by large, landscaped gardens, is a tranquil oasis, a peaceful base from which to enjoy daily excursions into Yala National Park in search of Sri Lanka’s most iconic wildlife – elephants, sloth bears and leopards – as well as a host of different species of bird and a vast range of other animals.
