The owners of the villa have gone to great lengths to ensure that the Dutch period theme is maintained across by using antique doors and windows, including a satinwood and ebony staircase, all reclaimed from old colonial houses in Sri Lanka. One of the most extraordinary features of the house is an enclosed swimming pool with two spa seats. Just what you need after a long walk in the mountains. Accommodation comprises of two loft style bedrooms upstairs with exposed timber beams and hardwood floors which can accommodate up to four people. One of the rooms come with a queen-sized bed whilst the other has twin beds. Both have ensuite bathrooms with h/w showers.

Accommodation includes full English breakfast and dinner. The three-course dinner consists of traditional home-cooked Sri Lankan food or a selection of Western dishes, including cheese and biscuits and a complimentary glass of port. Dinner also includes a complimentary bottle of wine for two, fresh juices and tea or freshly ground coffee. Lunch and snacks can be provided on request at an extra charge. As there’s no alcohol sold on the premises, guests are encouraged to bring along their favorite wine or spirits. For less formal eating, meals can be arranged on the veranda or even in the garden under a mango tree. Tea and freshly ground coffee available on-the-house throughout the day.
