Nestled in a sprawling 8-acre cinnamon estate in Midigama near Galle, Samadara is a stunning four-bedroom villa influenced by Dutch architecture from the colonial period, with high ceilings and long verandas. This villa is a well-hidden haven for those who seek solace from the hustle and bustle of the world outside. Samadara extends over three buildings and is well-designed with lots of open spaces replete with hand-picked antique furniture, chic ornaments and paintings. Although located inland, Samadara’s only ten minutes away from Midigama, a beach that’s ideal for intermediate and advanced surfers. The villa is surrounded by paddy fields and wilderness, offering views of undisturbed greenery teeming with birdlife.
Samadara has four bedrooms. The master bedroom is complete with a selection of books, an open-air ensuite with bathtub and has panoramic views. The remaining three rooms open onto the expansive garden, with direct access to the pool. Two have double beds and open-air bathrooms, whilst the other has twin beds and a normal ensuite.

Samadara has a staff of two, who are more than capable of preparing a selection of delectable dishes. Guests can speak to the staff and decide on the menu for the day. The villa does not have a liquor license, but the staff can buy a choice of local and international liquor for you on request. All groceries are purchased at cost price.
